your body is talking.

You were taught to ignore her.

this is your invitation to finally listen.

Your body has been trying to get your attention.

The tension that never quite fades. The exhaustion that sleep can’t resolve. The nagging sense that something you can’t quite pinpoint feels off, even when everything looks fine on the outside.

You’ve learned to push past it. To manage and override. Because that’s what’s been expected of you by a culture that rewards output over attunement, productivity over presence, doing over being.

The choice feels personal, but it’s actually conditioning.

And your body has been patiently waiting for you to slow down long enough to hear what it’s trying to say.

That’s what this work is about.

You might be feeling…

Like you're running on empty yet incapable of stopping. Rest feels like something you must earn and slowing down, even when you desperately need to unwind, feels inconceivable.

Like you're going through the motions, present on the outside, but detached on the inside. Unable to fully land in your own body or your own life.

Like you've mastered the art of appearing to excel. You show up, you function, you even thrive by most measures. But privately something feels hollow. And you're tired of pretending otherwise.

Like you've given so much of yourself outward that you've lost track of what truly matters to you. Your own needs have become the last thing on your to-do list, if they make the list at all.

Like your body has become something to manage rather than inhabit. Something that gets in the way, lets you down, or simply can't be trusted.

Like you've tried. The therapy, the practices, the books, the inner work. Something has shifted, but you still struggle to trust your inner knowing. You look outward for answers you know lie somewhere inside you.

If any of this sounds familiar, there’s nothing wrong with you. You're simply living outside your body.

And that's exactly what this work is designed to address.

what’s possible

the

reframe

Imagine your body as a source of wisdom rather than a problem to solve. Imagine trusting what you feel. Knowing what you need without searching outside yourself for the answer.

That's not a distant dream. That's the possibility your conditioning has been covering up.

Somatic healing is simply the practice of returning to your body as a guide.

introducing

1:1 somatic

healing

A guided, private, 60-minute journey inward that unfolds at your unique pace.

This is the space your nervous system has been quietly craving. A place to gently untangle what feels heavy, stuck, or unclear. To begin rebuilding trust with the body you've been living outside of.

what it is

somatic healing explained

Somatic healing is a body-led journey of reconnecting with yourself. It’s about slowing down, setting aside the mental narrative, and tuning into the language of your body: the sensations, impulses, breath, and movements that are always present beneath the surface.

Through somatic practices, we’ll create a space for you to release what no longer serves you, reconnect with your body’s innate intelligence, and rediscover parts of you that got lost along the way.

Your body carries your survival patterns, your stories, and your wisdom. It knows how to heal. All you have to do is listen.

This is for you if:

You feel more comfortable in your head than in your body and you're ready to change that.

You're exhausted by constantly doing and long for permission to simply be.

You know you're carrying something (grief, tension, old patterns) and you sense your body is the doorway through it.

You've tried talk therapy and found it helpful, but feel like something body-based is missing from your healing.

You're in a transition such as motherhood, perimenopause, a relationship ending, or a new beginning and you need a space that can hold all of it.

You're not looking to be fixed. You're looking to be met.

This May Not be for you if:

You're in an active mental health crisis and need clinical psychiatric support. (I'll always be happy to help you find resources that match where you are.)

You're looking for a quick fix or a single session to "resolve" deep, complex trauma. Somatic healing is gentle and cumulative — it unfolds over time.

You want to spend the session talking through your story. While your story is welcome, this work centers what your body is communicating right now.

work with Sarah

For as long as I can remember, my body has been a trusted guide, speaking to me in a subtle, sometimes visceral, yes and no to discern what was right for me and help guide my decisions. This wasn’t something I was taught or learned, but something I was naturally attuned to as a child.

I know firsthand how easy it is for that connection to get buried. Hustle culture nearly did that to me. The pressure to produce, to push, to keep going well beyond what my body was asking for. I felt it, and for a time, I followed it, only to my detriment.

Somatic healing was instrumental in helping me find my way back to the wisdom of my body, to re-attune to my body’s needs, and cultivate the skill of inner listening to shift my relationship with my body to one that honors and nourishes.

I want the same for you. If this feels like the kind of support you’ve been craving, I would be honored to hold space for you and help you hear what your body has been trying to say.

frequently asked questions

  • Each session includes guided facilitation to connect with your lived experience in the present moment. Together we explore tools (including breathwork, movement, self touch, and sound practices) to regulate your nervous system and help you feel safe enough to sense what’s going on beneath the surface.

  • Somatic healing unfolds organically at the body's pace, which is often slower than the mind's expectations. A rhythm of 1–2 sessions per month is a recommended starting point if you are new to somatic healing, moving toward monthly sessions as you settle into the work.

  • Talk therapy focuses on the mental narrative, the story running in your head. Somatic healing focuses on what your body is communicating right now through impulses, sensations, urges, and breath. If you're used to processing through conversation, you might notice the pull to share your story. While that's certainly welcome, our main focus will be to continually return to what's alive in your body, beneath the narrative.

  • If you're longing to cultivate a relationship with your body, regulate your nervous system, or feel more present, you may find this work deeply supportive. If you have questions before booking, you're welcome to reach out at hello@womenswellnessreimagined.com.
